For managing a project process following phases are
follows:
Phase management : Here one task is completed fully before looking
for next one. So before that we have to study all task
completely.
Planning: Here planning should be started before project start, and
then do detail planning after every phase inorder to compete task
in time and in high quality.
Control: Here controlling of cost , risk, and manage should be
looked on
Team management: Team management is very important otherwise there
is high chance product fail so specific project management training
and support should be done before hand.
Communication: Make sure who will be responsible for communicating
to team members. As this play a vital role in any project.
Procurement: Many projects hire third parties to manage purchasing,
particularly when it involves IT systems. Managing these third
parties is often the role of the project manager
Integration: It is imporant as many projects project differ from
other so how one project will interface with other projects or
functions should be looked carefully.
Where as in Assembly line process following phases are
follows
Modular Assembly : It is designed to improve throughput by
increasing the efficiency of parallel subassembly lines feeding
into the final assembly line. For example in automobile industry
every part has their own work before joining them together to form
one part.
Cell Manufacturing: This method has evolved as machine can perform
multiple tasks. Like cell operator can handle two three task at a
time whereas machine can do multiple task. This will reduce time
and accuracy, finish project will also be good.
Team Production: Where workers used to work at one- or two-person
work stations and perform tasks, but now teams of workers can
follow a job down the assembly line through its final quality
checks.
U shaped : Here assemblers can see each process, what is coming and
in what time is taking and one person can perform multiple
operations. Multiple task can be done at a time , with better
communication with workers.

- Describe the process of planning, managing, and controlling quality in projects. Class - A project has the following key characteristics: (a) start and end date, and (b) delivers a unique product, service, or result. For this final exam, please select a business-type project that you would like to launch and respond to the following items: • Provide a description of the project. • How will you convince your manager that this project is worthwhile? • Does your project have...
Describe how SPC methods were used to improve quality and productivity in a copper plating operation at a printed circuit board fabrication facility. List the DMAIC process steps in this project and describe how SPC magnificent tools were used in each DMAIC step.
Describes a basic process for managing the “fundamental project constraints of scope, time, cost, and quality”. Comment on the similarities and differences between this basic process and the project change management process used in an organization. Management
STEP 3 - Deliverable Describe the different Bl tools available to modern organizations, and provide examples from the videos of how these tools are supported by technology providers.
In Java describe the differences between an abstract class and an interface. Provide examples for both citing the differences. Which would you choose to use and why?
Look up 3 software tools for project management and collaboration. Briefly describe the tools and how they aid the user with project management. The writeup should be about 1 page long (one paragraph for each software).
What are the differences between utility software and application software? Please describe it in detail and provide a few examples. A software developer has built software that plays video and music. She wants to provide this software to the user for free of charge but wants to have the copyright of the software. Which software licensing software should she use and why? List the different type of software licensing and how the buyer can use it? Multiprocessing and Parallel processing...
Describe the differences between the use of the binomial and Poisson distribution. Provide one example of how each can be used and explain why you selected the example.
Imagine that you are the data manager for a hospital. The hospital is tasked with managing a large volume of data – often referred to as big data. Managing big data also requires a data governance plan. You are asked to perform a feasibly analysis to implement a data governance program. You are responsible for the first phase of the project. The first phase of your analysis is to explore big data, the responsibilities of a data governance officer, and...
