Radius of the main water supply pipe = R1 = 4.05 cm = 0.0405 m

Radius of the faucet tap = R2 = 1.45 cm = 0.0145 m

Pressure of the water in the main water supply pipe = P1

Gauge pressure in the main water supply pipe = P1g = P1 - Patm

Pressure of the water in the faucet tap = P2 = Patm (Taps are open to the air)

Speed of flow of water in the main water supply pipe = V1

Speed of flow of water in the faucet tap = V2

Height of the tap compared to the main supply pipe = h = 12 m
