Hi, I have a homework making an experiment including all scientific method. It's about why frogs are bigger if they were raised in the middle of the canyon with a stream of water than the dry sides of the canyon.

In order to study the effect of water in frogs you can collect frogs ( now just imagine ) and culture some of them on dry area and half of group in river side . And observe the shape and size changes and we can come into hypothesis and some conclusions based on that.

Coming to our questions it's very interesting for me to answer.

Forgs need to be around areas with water source to reproduce. Frogs will often eat any living thing that will fit into their mouths. This includes bugs, spiders , worms, slugs, larvae and even small fish. Out of above mentioned methods the more prey is found near wet and pond area so that might be one of reason affecting size of frogs.

Out of many other reasons we could conclude that the food and habitat might be major reason behind the large size diff .
