eBay is one of the largest e-commerce company providing consumer to consumer and Business to consumer sales through its website. It is an American based multinational company incorporated on March 13, 1998. It connects buyers and sellers all over the world through its market place, StubHub and classified platforms.
Challenges:-
1. Cut-throat competition: eBay faces competition from several other companies doing the same business such as Amazon, Etsy, Newegg, Bonanza etc.
2. Customers feedback: Negative feedback from customers also a bigger challenge to the company. Any fault in the delivery of goods or in other services raises negative feedbacks from buyers and it will badly affect the reputation of the company.
3. Fake customers:- fraudulent customers, such as costumers with fake online payment account, fake identify, false purchase requisition etc., also a challenge to the company.
4. Refund request from customers: the dissatisfaction of customers on quality of goods or on any other services leads to the refund request. This cause several losses to sellers such as loss of profit from sale, loss of time, loss of packaging and shipping cost etc.

Solutions:-
1. Providing good quality products and best customers services in order to overcome competition.
2. Ensure quality of goods and genuine sellers to avoid negative feedbacks from customers.
3. Design new programs to project sellers and to reduce their losses from fake customers.
4. Provide quality goods and services in order to reduce the number of dissatisfied customers.
5. Ensure the service of different online payment services at reasonable rates.
6. Reduce and maintain reasonable transaction fees.
