Consider the problem below and the algorithm that has been created to solve the problem. Find and correct the errors in the algorithm. Re-write the algorithm below so that it correctly solves the problem. Briefly explain the error and the correction.

Problem

Create an algorithm that will calculate the average of a group of numbers that are input and print the average.

Calculate_Average

1 Get num1, num2, num3
2 sum = num1 - num2 + num3
3 average = sum/4
4 print average

Answer #1

ALGORITHM

  • Initialize sum=0,Avg;
  • Enter the the no of elements
  • Enter the elements values
  • Found the sum by using loop in array and update sum value in which loop must be continue till (no of elements-1) times
  • Avg=sum/no of elements
  • Print the values of sum and avg

ERROR:

THE ERROR IN UR ALGO IS THAT FIRST OF ALL THE FORMULA OF SUM IS WRONG THERE IS ONE - SIGN AND MORE OVER THE BETTER APPROACH IS TO USE A LOOP FOR FINDING THESE THINGS

PLEASE GIVE A THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't find where to comment. But it has to be written in C++!!!!! Task-1: Rational fractions are of the form a / b, in which a and b are integers and ! ≠ 0. In this exercise, by ‘‘fractions’’ we mean rational fractions. Suppose a / b and c / d are fractions. Arithmetic operations and relational operations on fractions are defined by the following rules: Arithmetic Operations: a/b + c/d = (ad + bc)/bd a/b – c/d =...

Use your knowledge of algorithm development to create a program using RAPTOR to solve the problem below. Input a list of student names (in to array student[]) and testing scores stored in parallel arrays. Each student have 3 testing scores ranging from 0 to 100 (store into parallel array score1[], score2[], score3[]). Output average score for each student and print out what is his final grade. If average score <60, got F grade. If 60<=average score<70, got D grade. If...

Using Dev C++, write a program to solve the problem as stated below. Write a program will input a single integer value (all input will be exactly 8 digits long) and will store pairs of digits as individual integer values. The program will display the five 2-digit numbers as well as the average of these, each on their own line. Use a switch statement to print out Grade: and then either A (>=90), B ([80..89]), C ([70..79]), D ([60..69]) or...

Problem 6. (Weighted Graph Reduction) Your friend has written an algorithm which solves the all pairs shortest path problem for unweighted undirected graphs. The cost of a path in this setting is the number of edges in the path. The algorithm UNWEIGHTEDAPSP takes the following input and output: UNWEİGHTEDA PSP Input: An unweighted undirected graph G Output: The costs of the shortest paths between each pair of vertices fu, v) For example, consider the following graph G.
