The research is needed as AHRQ is convinced that the patient’s perspective is central to healthcare decisions affecting prevention, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care. Patient-reported outcomes (PROs) offer a complementary perspective to that of clinician assessments and may provide greater insights into health status, function, symptom burden, adherence, health behaviors, and quality of life. PROs can inform the clinical management of individuals, shared decision-making, patient self-management support, care planning, goal setting, and goal attainment.

Please suggest ways technology can be used to achieve the goal of improved patient care. What technologies could be used? What are the risks?

  • Seasonal Analysis and care: Technologies can be used for carrying out the seasonal analysis that is going to impact the patient health. The seasonal analysis will help in finding the seasonal health care plan based on the patient data analysis and investigations.
  • Age wise/ Diet wise care analysis: Technology can be used for carrying out the age wise or diet wise analysis so that this technology will help in better health care for the patients.
  • Advanced investigation for healthcare: Technology can be applied for the advanced investigations and analysis and can suggest suitable preventing actions for health care.
