  • ANSWER 1.Scholarly sources tend to extensively spread researches and academic discussions among professionals withing disciplines,whereas Non-scholarly sources tend to inform and entertain public,like through newspapers,magazines etc.
  • In scholarly sources,articles and books are written by academicians or any other professional in the field,whereas non scholarly sources are written by professional writers,like a journalist who might not be an expert in the field.
  • In scholarly sources,authors always cite their references used for research,whereas in non scholarly sources authors rarely offer details about the sources of information,i.e. there is no citation.
  • Scholarly sources are generally published to share research findings,whereas non scholarly sourcesare generally published for profit.They are used to voice and influence opinions which could be - political, moral, or ethnic.
  • Authors are properly named in scholarly sources,whereas in non scholarly sources,authors might be kept anonymous.
  • Scholarly books and journals would usually be found in an academic library or in an academic's office,whereas non scholarly books and magazines are found in bookstores,public library etc.
