Some analysts feel that one of the most important benefits of digital marketing is that marketers and customers can share information. That is, consumers can learn about products, brands, and retailers much more readily through online media.
Have you ever looked up product information online? Have you used customer reviews of product you are considering buying? Have you ever participated in online contests? Have you ever complained online about a bad product or service? Given these new options, how will traditional marketing methods change? Do they give more power to consumers?

Yes I do search for a product information on Internet, especially the products which I am very serious about, viz, cosmetics, and personal care. Recently I looked up for lit collection lipstick of myglamm, searched for its reviews and also got to its details from its website. I always use customer review on these makeup products and so did for myglamm lit lipstick, it had many good reviews and demonstrations made me to finally purchase it. I did participated in an online contest which was conducted by an YouTube influencer but didn't win anything unfortunately.
Yes, I do complain to the marketer if the product is received is not upto it's specifications and is different from what I expected. I ordered few products of myglamm before, there was a problem in their offering and they claimed if discount is applied offer can't be availed. I complained them about the purchase, they contacted back through their website app chat and resolved the issue with better offers.
