Most of the hotels cannot manage procuring natural products for packaging or reducing dependency on products like paper that are manufactured from trees and wood. Such innovation and focus on conservation of renewable sources is currently not done at most of the hotels. Also, the priority is on customer service and comfort. Thus, guests are not advised on reuse and recycle as more emphasis is given on providing value for their money.
The idea for recycling and green initiatives is important as hotel industry involves utilising lot of products and practices that directly impact environment.
