As a Boss I will definitely Measure both the Attitude and Behaviors for an Employee, as Attitude for an Employee is defined by Psychological state of mind and It is considered as the way a person think about a situation, at a workplace employee can have both the positive and Negative Attitude about the tasks, work products and services, so it further talk about the meaning of Right Attitude in terms of doing right thing by an employee at the right place, right time for a right Job, whereas Behavior for an Employee can be considered as actions of a person based on specific stimuli, further employee behavior can be measured by how an employee greeting others employee and customers, how they are talking to co – workers and Interacting with management, so as a boss I should measure both Attitude and Behavior of an Employee

If you measured attitude, how could you ensure you were fair and just?

Answer:

As Boss, I can Measure an Employees attitude to define or ensure that I was fair and Just, attitude measurement can be done using Likart scale and Semantic Differential, those are termed as Direct Measurement, again we can use Projective Techniques and implicit association test, to define an Employees attitude,

Semantic Differential Technique tell an employee to rate an issue or topic on a standard set of bipolar objectives those go with opposite meanings and each will represent seven point scale, , In semantic differential Technique, following area can be revealed based on the three dimensions of attitudes like Potency, Evaluation and activity,

A projective test can include a person and present someone with an ambiguous or incomplete stimulus, further such stimulus may need interpretation from the person and persons attitude can be evaluated from the incomplete stimulus,

  

If you measure behaviors, how would you assess people and be fair and just?

Answer:

For an Employee, the boss can measure his or her behavioral performance, such assessment can make the boss fair and Just,

  • Graphic Rating scales such uses rating of 1 to 5 or 10 to rate behavioral element for an Employee,
  • 360 Degree feedback process, that process can give feedback about an specific employee, further boss can receive opinions, assessments about the employee,
  • Self Evaluation can give an offering to rate his or her own Behavioral performance
  • Management by objective: by this process employee is allowed to participate in the process and get understanding about what is expected, such process focus on preparing an Objective

  • Checklist: Employees behavioral performance can be measured by doing yes and no checklist assessment, further it can give result associated with any deficiencies applicable for an Employee
