The important skill set required to lead the change are:

  • Creative or innovative thinking = Person leading the change must be creative and innovative in approach in order to help people and processes embrace the change with ease. It may happen that a person has to adopt multiple approach to bring changes
  • Open communication = Person must be open to communication, listen to view point from others and give necessary feedback
  • Patience = The changes doesn't happen overnight and it requires patience to see things move slowly
  • Enthusiasm = The person bringing the change must be full of energy to help motivate others to adopt changes

The organization's structure can accommodate change by:

  • Re-aligning company's strategy, Vision and Mission statements
  • Bringing changes to company policies and processes to make structural changes with ease
  • RE-shuffling the portfolio with people to help them learn and adapt changes
  • Conducting sessions and seminars on importance of changes and its linkage to organization's future plans
