They have questions about how to overcome communication challenges,how to share tough news with employees, and how to measure the effectiveness of their communication. Answer - Following are the ways by which managers can overcome communication challenges -

1)Managers should clarify the main idea before communicating with subordinates . Managers should study and research and analyse the matter properly before communicating .

2)The level of perception and education of subordinates must be taken into account before communicating .

3)The manager should be aware of the language that he uses also the tone and content of messege should be proper . The language should be clear , easy and simple and easily understandable . The tone should not be harsh .

4) The manager should ensure that the subordinates give a proper feedback by communicating properly .

5) Manager should also try to be a good listener .If he is a good listener then subordinates will communicate more effectively .

6) Manager should communicate only important and relevant things which is of value to the subordinates .

7) Manager should involve the subordinates before communicating so that they may get to know about the issue and agree upon it beforehand .

Managers can measure the effectiveness of their communication if they see their subordinates responding to then positively . The subordinates will carry out their duties in a phased manner as directed by the manager and not haphazardly . There will be mellifluous environment in the organisation and not a fight over petty issue . The subordinates will remain satisfied with their manager .
