If the following salts are dissolved in water, will the resulting solution be acidic, neutral, or basic? NaF, BaCl, NH4C2H3O2 Can you please explain why also.

if NaF is dissolved in water, the reaction is

NaF + H2O NaOH (strong base) + HF (weak acid)

so the solution is basic

2.

if BaCl2 is dissolved in water, the reaction is

BaCl2 + 2H2O Ba(OH)2 (strong base) + 2HCl (strong acid)

so the solution is neutral

3.

if NH4C2H3O2 is dissolved in water

NH4C2H3O2 + H2O NH4OH (weak base)+ HC2H3O2 (weak acid)

so the solution is neutral
