Behaviour can be changed use of reinforcement. The response will decrease without reinforcement. The schedules used to keep the desired response from disappearing. These are partial reinforcement.

1. Fixed Ratio - Certain number of responses in order to receive reinforcement. For example, teacher gives candy after giving 3 answer by the student.

2. Fixed interval - Reinforcement for a response only after fixed interval of time. For example, daily salary gets to the person.

3. Variable ratio - Reinforcement happens only after unpredictable number of responses. For examples, poker machines.

4. Variable interval - Response after a specific, unpredictable amount of time passed. For examples, teacher checking your performance.
