In class we spoke about "Value Proposition." Can you describe a situation that you have been in were you have purchased an item and or service and the value proposition did not meet up to your expectations.? How was your response to it?  When the company offered a solution -- did you believe it was enough? Did you forgive the company? Would you go back to them? Please expand on this for minimum 500 words

The service in this case was a travel ticket booked through Make my Trip app, which defines itself as a company to make travel easier. People depend heavily on the discounts offered by the app and they proclaim to be the cheapest and hassle free way to book travel tickets. So their value proposition was based on cheap and hassle free travel. So I bought tickets worth $200 to travel from place A to place B believing I got a steal deal.

But later on I found that the same tickets were available for $170 on other websites which made me regret my purchase from the app and I found the value proposition was not up-to my expectation even after being a loyal consumer for so long.

So I sent an email to them about the same and about the price differential. They responded immediately and the agent called me up on the phone.Company agreed to refund the price differential to me and I felt that was genuine mistake on their part and I believed they made up well. They even sent me further discount codes for travel in the future. I forgave the company and being a loyal consumer I would still like to make purchases from them as they upheld their value proposition.
