In a radiobiology experiment a mouse is irradiated by γ-ray. The lethal dose (dose which kills the mouse) is 12 Gy under oxygen saturated state (where its blood is saturated with oxygen). A second mouse is killed with a dose of 20 Gy (where its blood is less saturated with oxygen than the first mouse). What is the Oxygen Enhancement ration (OER) for the mice?

The OER is defined as the ratio of radiation dose used in hypoxic conditions to the radiation dose used under oxygen saturated state for the same biological effect (in this case death):
