“Autocratic leadership” is a style which make sure that the organization aim to achieve success and outcomes with no failures. This leadership style is more as “self-directing” and would like to give commands to their team members or employees. In the entire process, one person haves the entire control of the organization and for the decision making, and every other employee whoever is under control need to follow what has been asked to do. This leadership style has lot of power and no ‘participation’ from employees in any type of decision. This leadership style is best suited for healthcare organization where one person takes the control of the entire effort. At times, it is seen that the autocratic leaders comes with the progressive ideas and work in disciplined approach. Whereas, in the case of learning organization, autocratic leadership style does not suits as employees’ participation in decision making is highly important to remain progressive.
