Alpha rays are much more damaging if it gets inside the system ,as it creates lots of ionization in just small space hence it should not be shallowed however should be put in hands as it has low penetrating power and can be stopped by dead cells of skin , however beta emitting cookie should be kept in pockets as cloth and skin will effectively reduce the radiation however gamma emitting cookie should be eaten because it no charge and would not be effective in producing charged pairs hence should be eaten.
