Life satisfaction is individualistic and it is different for different people. If we ask are the rich happy , they maybe not.Analysing the above factors, we can understand that all those are important for life satisfaction , but they are not the only factors.
Adequate income is very important because it saves us from poverty. Poverty is a very dangerous condition. But adequate income is not the only means of satisfaction.
Good health is obviously important because without health nothing is possible.
Active lifestyles gives life satisfaction for some people but it is seen that with time , they search for something else in life to make it meaningful.
Social networking seems to be only a temporary happiness . Studies show that over dependence on social networking sites make people depressed at some points.
The last three, choices , optimisation and compensation are just self soothing methods. They are defence mechanisms against harsh realities of life. They can never be the basis of satisfaction.
