Discusses how leadership can influence and support an organization’s evolution toward Total Quality in terms of engaging and enlisting the employees to take ownership of the quality delivered to their customers, both internal as well as external customers.

Top management or executive leadership can be said as most important pivot for formulating and implementing quality management initiatives and goals to an organization. TQM helps any organization to achieve performance standards and business level sophisticated design for engaging the internal employees and other outsider stakeholders. Until , employees will not be motivated and supported by business level leaders then success of a business cannot be achieved in terms of monetary benefits and reduced expenses.

It is the top management or board level business leaders who define the aspirations of employees by empowering them to different job positions or profit centers. Inspiring people with real life examples in day to day business can help an organization in many ways. Customers feedback can be collected by lower level employees as instructed by senior leaders which will be used to offer employment policies and other issues related to product development. Quality can also be ensured first at all offerings products to internal customers only. If , they recommend some points to improve then okay otherwise great changes can be done.

Quality can also be ensured through development of self managed team or by providing training to cross functional team members for business level goals achievement.
