Demi Lovato had been vocal about her struggles which she had with mental illness, stating that she knew that there was "something wrong with her". He has opened up about her issues with substance abuse and bipolar disorder and this is most likely developed by multiple factors, which includes environmental, family and internal conflicts. She put her career on a halt in order to seek treatment, which includes taking initiative for oneself and self care. She brought into factors such as emotional stability, initiativeness and motivation in order to bring herself on the path to recovery. A star being this open about recovery is likely to influence children and encourage them to get help when they feel that their mental health has been compromised.
