There are many social networking systems in today's world and the rising trends of these social networks are changing dynamically. Five years ago, facebook was a candidate for a rival population in China, while instagram is now more popular with Internet users. Although the target group of social networks or the goals it serves, these systems are known to have common behaviors. Some of these common behaviors are exemplified below:

You are expected to define a common communication protocol for social networks around the world. This protocol will cover common behaviours of social networks and will utilize social network applications. The common behaviours with socila network stamp/identifier will traverse via this protocol. To make the protocol run faster, the protocol you defined will work on the transport layer and extend the TCP.
In this context,
a. Identify the common set of behaviors on these social networks by
examining trend social networks.
b. Define a protocol and communication behavior to cover these
behaviors.
c. Define the segment (heeader and payload) for your protocol and
the packet structure.
d. Cover security issues for this protocol and develop some security extensions.
Ans :
Communication Protocol: A set of rules that allow two electronic devices to connect to exchange the data with one and another.
The mobile application is using the MQTT protocol.
On the other hand web page of the messenger, along with login page uses HTTPS protocol. HTTPS packets are being sent on the local network, through wireshark but since HTTPS is SSL encrypted, you will see the hashes in the response body not the text.
MQTT packets can contain a MAC address/checksum that verifies the contents of the packet. This calculated stamp is generally added to the payload. The receiver of the packet can verify the data by validating the stamp.
It’s ensure that the MQTT is not malicious and does not contain any third part. It’s make it’s virus free as well as with high security checked.
