The extent of globalization and advancement of technology has changed the health care landscape a lot. Modern technical medical procedures are available now and also one can get treated from any part of the world.
One of the issues is employees getting treated from other countries. In few cases, employees prefer that and in some other cases employers prefer that to save medical expenses on employees. In such cases, it would be difficult to handle various things like medical insurances and most importantly the health of employees. one cannot be sure of the methods used in the other country. Also, one cannot have control on the way hospitals in other countries provide treatment to the employees.
To handle this issue, one can ensure that the employees are getting treated only in home country. The company can make deals with insurance company to reduce the costs. Another alternative is to identify those hospitals in other countries which provide good health care. Employees must be suggested to visit these hospitals. The company can also make certain deals with these hospitals.
