1. Tongue: Plays an important role in respiration, masticating their food while eating and also helps in grasping food while eating

2. Gall bladder: Releases biles for digestion of the food. Also used for emulsifying fats

3. Stomach: The muscular organ where nutrients are broken down, and the digested materials are transferred further to the small intestine for further nutrient absorption. However, in pigs ulcer formation starts in the stomach

4. Small intestine: Digested food is being absorbed and assimilation of the food is performed.

5. Large intestine: Responsible for the absorption of water from the chyme which is passed from the small intestine

6. Esophagus: Transports food from the mouth to the stomach

7. Parotid gland and duct: Secretes saliva and breaks down complex starches into simpler forms with the help of enzymes

8. Trachea: Windpipe connecting pharynx and larynx

9. Lungs: Right lung has four lobes and the left lung has three lobes

10. Diaphragm: Responsible for separating thoracic and abdominal cavities to channelize air into the lungs
