The rates of chemical reactions increases with an increase in temperature. When temperature increases amount of molecular collisions between molecules increases. As rate of reaction depends on the value of rate constant which further depends on activation energy. When temperature is increased, it provides this minimum kinetic energy to molecules to start the reaction .

True. Above statement is true. As the temperature increases ,it provides molecules a greater fraction to attain this minimum kinetic energy to overcome activation energy and thus increases vlaue of rate constant.

A 10° C incresment in temperature doubles the rate of reaction.
