Use the following formula to compute penetration in period-t:

Penetration in 't' = [Penetration in 't-1' * Repeat Rate of 't'] + First-time triers of 't'

Penetration in Aug = [Penetration in Jul * Repeat Rate of Aug] + First-time triers of Aug

= 20,000*80% + 3,000

= 19,000

Projected sales = Penetration * Frequency of purchase * Units per purchase

= 19,000 * 1 * 3

= 57,000
