‘Project team should be developed based on the requirement and task of a project. The management should select the project managers who have profound knowledge about the project and all its related activities. Hence, project staff should be chosen, focusing on project budget, staff efficiency, and project risk. The project manager needs to be extra-responsible to guide the inexperienced project staff. Cultural diversity, team working environment, skills, and competencies should be highly valued in project management.
Ways to develop a team for the project are as follows:
• Skill and experience base selection of manager: The project manager should be selected based on his skill, knowledge, and experience. The project manager should be adequately skilled and experienced. Moreover, he should have the efficiency to guide and assist the project staff as a leader.
• Member selection: Project members should be selected based on their skills and project requirement. The project manager needs to understand all the critical activities of the project before choosing project staff.
• Scheduling and allocation: Scheduling and task allocation should be conducted, focusing on employee skills. The project manager should understand the strengths and weaknesses of members before allocating tasks accordingly. Task allocation is a valuable part that must be conducted skills, knowledge, and experience consequently.
