Now that the semester is over, I want to ask you how you would divide 100% among your group members (excluding yourself):
For example (for a group of 4 people, this could look like this and remember you are not including yourself so a group of 4 would require you to give me 3 percentages totaling a 100%):
Jane 30
Harry 40
Betty 30
OR for a group of 5 (you would divide the total of 100% among 4 people):
Margie 55
Ben 10
Alex 15
Martha 20
You can decide how to divide this 100%, as long as the numbers you choose end up adding up to 100 and you are NOT including yourself in this numerical breakdown.
Question 2
Now, please explain how decided on the percentage that you assigned for each group member (in detail and be very specific) and make sure that you include every group member.
What follows are examples of group performance criteria that you could use when explaining how you made your choices:
Comprehension: Seemed to understand requirements for
assignment
Problem identification & solution: Participated in identifying
and defining problems and working toward solutions
Organization: Approached task (such as time management) in a
systematic manner
Acceptance of responsibility: Shared responsibility for tasks to be
accomplished
Initiative/motivation: Made suggestions, sought feedback, showed
interest in
team decision making and planning
Collaboration: Worked cooperatively with others
Participation: Contributed “fair share” to team project,
Attitude: Displayed positive approach and made constructive
comments in working toward goal
Communication: Expressed thoughts clearly
Responsiveness: Reacted sensitively to verbal and nonverbal cues of
other team members
Creativity: Looked at ideas from viewpoints different than the
usual ways
Task Completion: Followed through in completing own contributions
to
group project
Attendance: Attended planning sessions, was prompt, and
participated in decision making
And, if you choose to also use a rating type scale to explain how you decided on your allocation of numbers, here is one:
Excellent: Consistently went above and beyond; tutored
teammates, carried more than his or her fair share of the
load
Very Good: Consistently did what he or she was supposed to do, very
well prepared and cooperative
Satisfactory: Usually did what he or she was supposed to do,
acceptably well prepare and cooperative
Often: Often did what he or she was supposed to do, minimally well
prepared and
cooperative
Marginal: Sometimes failed to show up or complete tasks, rarely
prepared
Problematic: Often failed to show up or complete tasks, rarely
prepared
Unsatisfactory: consistently failed to show up or complete tasks,
unprepared
Very unsatisfactory: Practically no participation
Suppose i have to give marks to Jane Harry and Betty, and i say that Harry got the highest, this means he outperformed in the class and it above the peers. He would be attentive, active and always focused on his target. He would know what is right for him always. He would always be active in participation and this will add to his career in a long run. The best things to evaluate is the fact that people know what they want in life so that the focus stays at its peak no matter what happens. If Jane and Betty get equal scores, this means they got the same talent and skills and both stand at a same level when done a peer to peer comparison. This is also a great approach to work on. This will be really tough to differentiate them and also caste a high stance on things no matter what the situation is like. This tells us about their ranking among themselves and in the class for sure.
Now that the semester is over, I want to ask you how you would divide 100%...
i need positive comment and agree with the statement at leat 100

How would you respond to this post? When I think about ethical issues and how it can impact an organization the first thing that comes to my mind is how anyone can even work in an environment where unethical operations are taking place. The different unethical practices individuals can experience can be seen when upper management chooses to engage in dishonesty, low standards, micromanaging, inequality and lack of engagement with their employees. If they are doing so with them, the...
