I belong to middle class Hindu Maharashtrian (Maharashtra is a state in India). On other side, most of the Indian families belong to the bottom of the pyramid. Around seventy percent population falls in this category.
In my community, people have a fine income and can fulfill their needs and expectations like fine education, health and the allied aspects.
Whereas, people belonging to the bottom of the pyramid are not capable of getting fine education and health facility.
The culture, traditions, beliefs and values of my community are being diluted and there seems to be an influence of "McDonaldization" of the culture in the contemporary times. Comparatively, the people of the bottom of pyramid are attached with their values and there's a little impact of the westernised culture and consumerism.
