movement of amoeba is facilitated by pseudopods ( false feet) .Pseudopods are extension of cytoplasm formed by coordinated action of actin micro filaments pushing out the plasma membrane that surrounds the cell.

It is a crawling like movement and is the most primitive form of animal locomotion.
