In weak interactions at collider experiments, neutrinos are produced. The question is how do we verify the presence of the neutrinos in the particle collision at the collider? Give a brief explanation. (Recall neutrinos have been directly detected via large water tanks, however, the particle colliders do not have these water tanks. Furthermore, the neutrinos do not have charge so they cannot be detected via their charge, as is the case for electrons. Additionally, due to their very small mass, they do not deposit any energy into detectors that can be measured, as is the case with some hadrons with longer lifetimes. In essence, neutrinos pass right through the entire Earth in less than a second without interacting with any matter at all within the Earth.)

In colliders there is no direct detection of the neutrinos, in colliders there are detectors that can detect all sorts of particles except neutrinos. So the physicists use the momentum data of these particles to find out the momentum of the undetected particles (By using law of conservation of Momentum). So usually they tally up the momentum of particles to check whether there is a missing neutrino somewhere.
