Using ARM assembly, write a procedure call that compares registers R1 and R2, returning the lower value in register R0 and printing that value.

Your main function will contain a loop that continuously checks for keyboard input in the following pattern:

<operand_1><enter>

<operation_code><enter>

<operand_2><enter>

Example output:

100

m

200

100 <-Result

0 0

Answer #1

#LOOP : MOV R0 , #0 initial value of R0=0

MOV R1 , #DATA R1<-100

MOV R2 , #DATA R2<-200

CMP R1 , R2 (100 CMP 200) <- (R1-R2) <- (100-200)

JNC * jump to * memory location when Carry =0 Carry=1(when R1<R2) ; Carry=0(when R1>R2)

MOV RO , R1 if Carry=1 i.e, R1 is smaller than R2 so we sent R1 to register R0

* MOV R0 , R2 if Carry=0 i.e, R1 is greater than R2 so we sent R2 to register R0

LOOP #

END

Assignment Description: Implement a MIPS assembly language program that defines "main", and "function1" procedures. The function1 is recursive and should be defined as: function1(n) = (2*n)+9                      if n <= 5              =...

Project Objectives: To develop ability to write void and value returning methods and to call them -- Introduction: Methods are commonly used to break a problem down into small manageable pieces. A large task can be broken down into smaller tasks (methods) that contain the details of how to complete that small task. The larger problem is then solved by implementing the smaller tasks (calling the methods) in the correct order. This also allows for efficiencies, since the method can...

The program must assemble/compile in KEIL and must be able to run in the KEIL simulator. Generally, R0 may contain any value, but for purpose of this exercise, you may move 0x2345ABCD into R0. The number in R0 does not need be preserved....

NOTE: explain the lines in comments for better understanding Write an assembly program (for x86 processors - Irvine) that has two procedures, a main procedure and a procedure called Fib. The fib procedure is to uses a loop to calculate and printout the first N Fibonacci numbers. Fibonacci sequence is described by the following formula: Fib(1) = 1, Fib(2) = 1, Fib(n) = Fib(n – 1) + Fib(n – 2). The value of N is to be communicated to this...

Assembly MASM x86 Write a complete program that sorts dword unsigned integer array in descending order. Assume that the user doesn’t enter more than 40 integers. You MUST use the template and follow all the directions there. You can’t add any more procedures to the template. The procedures can’t use any global variables (variables that are inside .data segment). The caller of any procedures sends its argument through the stack. Inside any procedures, if you need to use a register,...
