1. The five factors model includes Openness to experience, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. Disorder may appear for the deficiencies of any factor. If there is no free experience to the stimuli then there will not be openness and it will cause disorder. Similarly there should be normalcy in neuroticism. The individual must show natural reactions with anxiety, worries etc.

2. The five factors control the personality of an individual. So, the individual must be free in experiencing stimuli. All the factors must grow naturally. It is natural that an individual must try to be the centre of attention. If it is excessive desire, then it is called a disorder. Similarly, an individual must have normal anger, worries or tension. If there is excessive reflection of such feelings, then there will be personality disorder.

3. In the five factors model, all the factors naturally and spontaneously grow in the people. A child spontaneously experiences stimuli and unconsciously these experiences are stored in memory. The sovial norms are automatically imparted in the individual. There is no need of special consciousness.

4. In the five factor model treatment the patient is asssessed on the basis of the characteristics of five factors. The assessment includes whether the individual bears excessive anger or tension, whether there is active conscious, whether there is normal agreeableness etc. The deficiencies in personality are reflected with five five factors assessment. The diagnosis becomes easy.

5. The treatment is provided on the deficiency found with five factors model. Naturally, the fields of deficiencies are detected clearly. In such method the treatment becomes easy.

6. The goal of the five factor model is the development of personality. It is used in research on personality.
