Practical application results from the operation of logic gates -

AND Gate - AND gate is use to design a BURGLAR ALARM , it take 2 input one is Person Sensor and other is Alarm switch so if both are ON than BURGLAR Alarm will be activated . It is place in a house where person going out of the house set the Alarm switch and when the Burglar enters he will set the "Person Switch" and alarm will ring.
OR gate - OR gate is use to deisgn a DOORBELL . it take 2 input one is Front Doorbell switch and other is Back door bell switch and is either Frontbell or back doorbell switch on , the doorbell will ring.
Not Gate - It is used in central heating system in house , offices or anywhere, it take temperature detector as input so if temperature is above 20 degree celsius then Central heating will be switched off and if the temperature is less than 20 degree celcius then the central heating will be switched ON.
