  • Transactional leaders focuses on the role of supervision, organization, and group performance. They are concerned about the status quo and day-to-day progress toward goals. Transformational leaders work to enhance the motivation and engagement of followers by directing their behavior toward a shared vision.
  • In transactional leadership leader, is lays stress on his relationship with followers. Conversely, in transformational leadership leader lays stress on the values, beliefs and needs of his followers.
  • Transactional Leadership works for improving the present conditions of the organisation. On the other hand, Transformational Leadership works for changing the present conditions of the organisation.
  • In my organization,my team leader exihibits transactional leadership.He is known to not go easy on his team members till he is satisfied with the answers they give him. At the same time, he gives all us members free hand to work as they want provided they achieve the targets they are given.As a transactional leader, he has had good vision for the company and has made a name for himself and a niche for the brand.
  • The CEO of my company is a transformational leader.His passion for perfection, simplicity and sophistication drove the company and he made sure that it got engraved into every employee who works for him.He constantly challenges his employees to think beyond what has already been done and makes them create products that the world did not even know it needed.
  • His compassion and sense of understanding towards his employees makes him approachable and thus has increased the efficiency of his entire administration to a great extent.
