Ans. NO, it does not  make sense that fungus evolved on the land at the same time as plants. It is because of the fact that, lthough the fungi and plants both have the cell wall. Both of them have the stationary habit. but Both of them do not have the same type of nutrition. Plants are autotrophic and fungi are saprophytic. It is totally diferent in both the group that shows that the have evolved from different ancestor. Although both of them have terrestrial habitat. So, it cleqarly shows that they have evolved on land at the same type.
