Usually, molds tend to grow with the help of hyphae, which is multi celled filaments. So, they look like long threads. Molds are found in colony. Whereas, yeast grows as single cell. Generally, yeasts are colourless, whereas, molds are colourful. Molds appear as fuzzy and can have several shapes. But, yeasts are normally oval in shape.
