a) Oxidation

Explanation: During photosynthesis, the transfer of electrons from water take place via some electron carrier and yields oxygen. In this electron electron are released from water. So, it is called oxidation reaction. Reduction reaction of photosynthesis occurs when carbon-di-oxide (CO2) is converted to sugar. Hydrolysis and condensation reaction does not involved in light reaction of photosynthesis.
