Answer #1

The three prime examples of great architectural designs are:

  1. My residential building has a vertical garden. Plants and shrubs are planted vertically along the building to provide all-year-round fresh air, lessen the heat during the summer and help in a small way to tackle the problem of global warming.
  2. A temple in the inner city has a small pond and a ledge on its outer edge which provides a beautiful focal point for the garden around the temple as well as provide an attraction for the visitors in the form of an assortment of birds freely playing in the pond and eating grains put by the visitors and temple authorities in the outer ledge. In its own little way, the temple is making sure that the birds get fed every day.
  3. A farmhouse, away from the city where I live, has designed its premises in such a manner that the rainwater gets collected in a tank. This not only helps in getting a good harvest by keeping the soil moist but also makes use of water which otherwise would have gone wasted.
