Information technology has changed business as companies compete globally and are pressured to provide quality, speed, and customer service. Was it technology that drove this change or was it business?

In short,Your answer is business.See if you want to compete in market be it any field ,you have to get updated with time and you always have to come up with some new product be it any product.

As far as Information Technology is concerned,there are lots and lots of companies in the market and subsequently there is a large amount of customers in the market. So to attract the customers,subsequent changes in the technology is needed and every company try to take an edge over the other.So for taking the advantage over the other ,technology and innovation is needed so that customers get attracted to your device and use it.And if a company is already having a customer base,they also needs to stay updated to sustain there present customer by regualrly providing quality and speed in the present technology.

Customer service is equally important because after the product has been sold,customer should remain happy and if any problem occur,a good customer service is needed to attend him.Then only a company can grow because most of the customers look for the point of after sales service for buying a product.

For eg. Apple is a tycoon company in mobile market.They are constantly providing updates to there remaining customers so that there customer stay connected to them.Also there after sales service is one of the best in the market so a person if having enough money to buy the product always go for apple product because of their technology which provides quality ,speed and good customer service and a wonderful after sales service.

On the contrary,there are various cheap phones available in the market,many people if they are having money don't go for them because they don't have innovation and they have a very bad customer service,they don't provide regular updates.And most importantly,they have worst customer care we can call it worst after sales service.Due to which even after having very low price ,their products don't get sold out.
