Answer #1

At STP , volume of 1 mole of gas = 22.4 L

Hence, we can write , 22.4 L of CO 2 gas 1 mol of CO 2 gas

5.66 L  of CO 2 gas ( 1 5.66 / 22.4 ) mol of CO 2 gas

5.66 L  of CO 2 gas 0.2527 mol of CO 2 gas

We have, no. of moles = Mass / Molar mass

Mass of CO 2 gas = No. of moles of CO 2 gas Molar mass of CO 2 gas

Mass of CO 2 gas = 0.2527 mol 44.01 g / mol = 11.12 g

ANSWER : 11.12 g of CO 2 gas occupies 5.66 L at STP.
