The fundamental difference between the positivist theories and the constructionist theories is that positivist theories says that knowledge is originated in a scientific way where as constructionist theories argues that knowledge is created by scientists which defy that there is only one technique or procedure to create knowledge. From a positivist theories, declension is depend on social determinism or biological where as from constructionist theories, declension is generated and allocate by society. The method in positivist theories are emerging procedure, open ended questions and image or text data where as the method in constructionist theories are determined procedure, closed ended questions and numeric data. The research practices in positivist theories uses established validity and reliability where as the research practices in constructionist theories fetch personal values into the experiments.
