Regulations affect the legal field in many ways, and we may not even be aware of their existence. Why don't you seek out a regulation that is of some importance to your field of study or your work or that is just of interest to you? You can use secondary sources, like those found from a Google search for this research. Westlaw and Google Scholar might also be useful. You can use any version of the C.F.R. you wish. Report back what you found. Give us a cite to the regulation, conforming to Peter Martin's style guide. Briefly describe what the regulation does or is intended to do. (Secondary sources may be helpful toward understanding this...so would the Federal Register!) Cite check the citation in Westlaw Campus Research. Does it have a lot of citations? Can you guess why?

Regulation that is of extreme importance in my field i.e. recruitment specifically in private employment agencies (PrEA) is described as follows:

• Regulations of PrEA have three main approaches:
  • Strict prohibition of any services provided by private employment agencies.
  • Strict regulation of PrEA.
  • Minimum regulation of PrEA.
• Legislation that regulates business activities of PrEA must be consistent and should parallel to the labour market and migration policies for employment in US.
• The regulation that is of my interest in this field is Recommendation 188
• This recommendation 188 states several provisions, Relationship between the public employment service and private employment agencies, and Protection of workers.
• Amongst these three recommendations, one of the recommendation that attracted my attention is that where it is stated that private employment agencies are prohibited from replacing of their clients workers who are on strike.
