5 S is a technique that follows a sequence of 5 steps to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, reduce waste, and improve commitment, etc. 5 S steps include Sort (Seiri), Set In Order (Seiton), Shine (Seiso), Standardize (Seiketsu), and Sustain (Shituke). 5 S helps in standardizing the workplace which makes it easier for employees to speed up the process. The first step includes identifying the things that are required and not required in the workplace. So, the number of objects in the workplace is reduced. So, employees handle very fewer objects and easier for the employees to search for that. The second step is to Set In Order where the objects are arranged in order as per their requirement. This reduces the waste of internal movements and searching time. This reduces the search time and objects can be easily identified. The third step is to Shine where the cleanliness of the workplace is maintained. It will be easier for employees to work in a very clean environment. So, any problems can be easily identified. The fourth step is to standardize the process and train all the employees to the standard. Audits are conducted regularly to sustain the process. The fifth step is to sustain the changes and regular audits are conducted and employees receive enough training to be comfortable in the process.
5 S helps the organization to improve the process. This helps both the manufacturing and service based firm. 5S improves the process and takes the organization to the next level. So, by reducing waste in the process, organizational productivity increases and the organization receives the competitive advantage.

For the Systematic Sampling technique, give the steps that are required, and identify the step(s) in which randomness plays a role for this technique. Use your own terms to give at least one advantage, at least one disadvantage, and give an example showing how randomization can help this sampling avoid bias.
For the Simple Random Sampling technique, give the steps that are required and identify the step(s) in which randomness plays a role for this technique. give at least one advantage, at least one disadvantage, give an example showing how randomization can help this sampling avoid bias.
For the Cluster Random Sampling technique, give the steps that are required and identify the step(s) in which randomness plays a role for this technique. give at least one advantage, at least one disadvantage, give an example showing how randomization can help this sampling avoid bias.
For the Stratified Sampling technique, give the steps that are required, and identify the step(s) in which randomness plays a role for this technique. Use your own terms to give at least one advantage, at least one disadvantage, (5 points) and give an example showing how randomization can help this sampling avoid bias.
