Ans:

1.Hydrogen atom is having 1S1 elctronic configuration.while bonding it share the unpaired electron to form COVALENT BOND. It is having low ionisation enthalpy.

2.Helium atom is having 1S2 elctronic configuration and it is noble element which is highly stable element.

So Helium atom never shares its electrons to form covalent bond.and it needs high Ionisation enthalpy also.Helium forms weak vanderwall bond only.
