A team is made up of a group of people with different strengths and weaknesses, working together to achieve a common goal. Often, each participant brings a different set of skills, experiences and ideas with them. You will find that good teams, the most successful are people who are selfless, sharing people who share love openly and without an agenda. There is absolutely no room for people who are greedy or selfish or for people who operate from a limited perspective and who are afraid to share something that worked well for them out of fear of being able to compete against or outperform them.

Team work is important because, it blends multiple people's different skills and maximizes abilities that bring out the best in each team member. Operating together as a group will help you achieve results faster and easier than trying to do it all on your own. Team members pull each other up, support each other, and work together to brainstorm new ideas.Teamwork supports and keeps you responsible for compliance. It encourages a sense of accomplishment. Team members are supporting each other and creating a sense of bond and belonging. We are strong together!

As the teamwork builds momentum, a good team will always overtake a person and push us forward together. In reality, I saw this in a former company. A new distributor has come in and created a team that has already outperformed the business leaders. He expressed his research and built a duplicable process with his group. Not only did he communicate his plan with the whole organization, he also lifted everybody up. Now in my heart is a LEADER. So, shouldn't it be one of the key factors to consider when searching for a network marketing company to enter if teamwork is necessary for your network marketing success? Absolutely! It's absolutely crucial to find a good and supportive sponsor joining the right team, yet so many people don't even think about it. Can you see why it's important to work together? But even if you weren't lucky enough to land on a great team, you might be able to join a group in your company. Or you could just step up as the leader (within you) and begin to look for people like you. Think of your beliefs, abilities, and start to draw people like you or those who complement your values and skills to build the team you wish you had joined. Sure, this may take some time, but it's going to be worth it. Since... "Teamwork is focused on the Vision." And because... "We stand together, but we fall apart."

So, these are the list of common roles that I play in my own team or group:-

Implementer Role: People who play the role of implementer in a team are the ones who do stuff in the community. They are realistic, well-organized and effective. Implementers turn the ideas and thoughts of the manager into real plans. Implementers are rather rigid and slow to accept change in a team because of their conservative nature.

Coordinator Role: Coordinators are considered to have the traditional role of a team. They are mature and confident in nature and have a great ability to listen. We direct the team's tasks to what we consider as the roles of the group. Coordinators are good at delegating tasks, but they may be deceptive in leading the group to what they see as their goals.

Shaper Role:  In a team, people who are creative and enjoy challenges play the shaper position. Instead of quitting when faced with challenges, shapers maintain a positive mental attitude and strive to find the best ways to handle the team's challenges. Shapers are extroverts and have good interpersonal communication skills and are helping to inspire other members of the team.

Finisher / Completer Role: Finishers have an eye for detail. They are considered as perfectionists in a team because they are the ones who detect errors or omissions and strive to make sure the team sticks to deadlines. They are smooth and self-conscious and worry about the slightest sign of an issue. Finishers also have a collaboration problem; they'd rather be frustrated than share their work with others.

Resource Investigator Role: Resource researchers are in nature inquisitive and enthusiastic and possess great skills in negotiation and networking. They are extroverts, making it easy to relate to them for others. Resource researchers develop external contacts through their networking skills and negotiate for the resources of the team. They are fast thinkers and good at getting other people's information.

Monitor-Evaluator Role: These are a team's critical thinkers. By nature, they are stern and careful. We tend to critically analyze information before making any assumptions, rather than jump into decision-making. Monitor-evaluators lack the energy to inspire other members of the team and are considered sluggish in decision-making.

Team Worker Role: TTeam workers are the people who keep the team together. They work to resolve conflicts or problems that affect the dynamics of the team. Team staff are very supportive of other members of the team and are therefore common in the group. During decision-making, team workers are known to be non-committal because they don't want to be seen as taking sides: they put team cohesion ahead of their decision-making abilities.

Specialist Role: The specialist position is comprised of staff with expert knowledge in a particular area. Also their area of experience is limited to their contribution to the team. Maintaining their professional standards is their priority. Although they are very proud of their abilities, they have little or no interest in other people's expertise. We are indispensable members of a group because of their expert knowledge.

Plants Role: Plants are the team's innovative members. They come up with original approaches and ideas that help the team overcome challenges or problems. By general, plants are introverts and have poor communication skills. Plants prefer to work on their own. They react well to praise, but negative criticism greatly affects them.
