Make a 0.250L of a 1x TBE solutions from a 2x TBE stock solution.

2 X TBE stock is twice as concentrated as 1 X hence the stock has to be diluted 2 fold.

Final volume required = 0.25 L

In order to make a 1 X solution ,volume of stock to be taken = 0.25\2 =0.125 L

To 0.125 L of stock add 0.125 L water to make 0.25 L of 1X TBE.
