Molarity = No. of moles of solute / volume of solution in Lite

Given;

Molarity = 1.55 M

Volume = 1.75 L

No. of moles of MgCl2 = Molarity x volume = (1.55 M) x (1.75 L) = 2.7 moles

moles = weight / molarmass

weight (mass) of MgCl2 needed = moles x molar mass = (2.7 mol) x (95.21 g/mol) = 258.26 grams of MgCl2
