Imagine that one of the strategic business units of your company is positioned in the ‘dog’ category (of the Boston Consulting Group Model); what would you do to help the SBU?

I would suggest the company to remove the Product offerings which are causing the sbu to remain in dog section on BCG matrix, or to close that sbu and divest from it to save the company from making losses. Because, any unit or product in the dog section face greater challenge to keep up the sales and find no customers willing to purvpurc it.
