a. Hormones are the chemical messenger that travel through blood to different parts of the body and coordinating various function of the body like growth, fertility etc .
b. Steroid hormone interact with steroid receptor that is present within the cell. They do not bind with receptor present on the cell surface because cell membrane is lipid in nature, so they easily cross the membrane. On the other hand, non serious hormone have to bind with receptor present on the cell membrane surface and activate second messenger to deliver their chemical message.
c three ways are

d. The hormone released by hypothalamus go to pituitary gland
e. It is known as master gland because it contro l the secretion of other gland.
f. Parathormone and calcitonin have opposite effect on blood calcium level.
g. Epinephrine and norepinephrine.
h. Insulin that decreases blood sugar level and glucagon that increases blood glucose.
